Used Tire Valuator (Working Name)
This is Micah McDonald's own app, built at Mac's Quality Used Tires, which runs Tire Shop Stack.
A phone- and tablet-friendly inventory and pricing tool for shops that sell used tires. It prices each tire from its size, brand, model, DOT date and how much usable tread is left, then tracks it from intake until it sells. It was built inside a working used-tire shop and is used there every day.
What it does
- Tread-based pricing using the remaining tread above the 2/32" legal minimum compared with new tread depth.
- Required intake fields (size, brand, model, DOT) so every tire is valued the same way.
- A unique ID per tire or set, marked on the tread.
- Sales picked up automatically from ShopMonkey invoices by tire ID. Works with ShopMonkey.
- Staff screens show only the selling price.
